A disposable handpiece: a body having: (i) a handle portion (ii) shaft portion having a suction duct therein (iii) an inlet port at the distal end of the shaft portion (iv) an LED mounting on the shaft portion (v) at least one LED mounted in the LED mounting (vi) a connector in fluid communication with the suction duct such that in use a vacuum source can be coupled to the connector so that fluid can be sucked into the inlet port and (vii) electric circuitry for selectively illuminating said at least one LED whereby in use an operator can suck material from a patient and selectively operate said at least one LED to thereby provide illumination adjacent to the distal end of the shaft portion.Cette invention concerne une pièce à main jetable, comprenant un corps présentant : (i) une partie formant poignée (ii) une partie formant arbre dans laquelle est ménagé un conduit (iii) un orifice dadmission à lextrémité distale de la partie formant arbre (iv) un montage de DEL sur la partie formant arbre (v) au moins une DEL montée dans le montage de DEL (vi) un raccord en communication fluidique avec le conduit daspiration de telle façon que, lors de lutilisation, une source daspiration peut être raccordée au raccord afin quun fluide puisse être aspiré à lintérieur de lorifice dadmission et (vii) un circuit électrique pour éclairer sélectivement ladite/lesdites DEL de telle façon que, lors de lutilisation, un opérateur peut aspirer du matériau à partir dun patient et activer sélectivement ladite/lesdites DEL afin de produire un éclairement à proximité de lextrémité distale de la partie formant arbre.
