[Problem] To prevent a rupture of an elastic film along a boundary between a stretchable region and a non-stretchable region.[Solution] The problem is solved by a stretchable structure (20X) of an absorbent article including a stretchable region (80) and a non-stretchable region (70) continuing from the stretchable region (80), wherein a laminate of a first sheet layer (20A), a second sheet layer (20B), and an elastic film (30) between the first sheet layer (20A) and the second sheet layer (20B) extends over the stretchable region (80) and the non-stretchable region (70), the first sheet layer (20A) and the second sheet layer (20B) are bonded to each other at a large number of dot-like joints (40) via through holes (31) formed in the elastic film (30) stretched along the surfaces of the first sheet layer (20A) and the second sheet layer (20B) in a stretchable direction, the dot-like joints (40) are arrayed at intervals in the stretchable direction and a direction perpendicular to the stretchable direction, an end of the stretchable region (80) adjacent to the non-stretchable region (70) is a buffer stretchable section (82), and the area rate of the dot-like joints (40) in the buffer stretchable section (82) is smaller than the area rate of the dot-like joints (40) in the main section (81) not including the buffer stretchable section (82).
