PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mammography apparatus, a control device, a mammography apparatus control method, and a mammography apparatus control program capable of effectively reducing pain in a breast due to the breast being pressed.SOLUTION: A mammography apparatus 12 comprises: an imaging table 26 housing a radiation detector 22 for detecting radiation R transmitted through a breast of a subject an upper pressing member 28 acting as a first pressing member for pressing the breast from an upper side thereof downwardly when the radiation R is detected by the radiation detector 22 and a lower pressing member 30 disposed opposite the upper pressing member 28 and acting as a second pressing member for pressing the breast from a lower side thereof upwardly, where an end portion of the lower pressing member 30 to a chest wall side of the subject is supported by the imaging table 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
