The disclosed torso supporting cushion arranged on a seat of the wheelchair or chair comprises a first cushion section, a second cushion section and a third cushion section, in which the first cushion section is positioned on a front surface of a backrest, and the second and third cushion sections are connected to left and right sides of the first cushion section and positioned on an inside surfaces in the vicinity of armrests. In addition, the first cushion section is fixed to the backrest section by the action of a tensile force from a belt, and etc., being a first attachment member that causes same to abut against the backrest.
