PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably perform noise evaluation of a medical image even when noise components are not uniform.
SOLUTION: The image processor is provided with: a storage part 22 for storing data in the medical image a local noise index value calculation part 26 which calculates two or more local noise index values regarding two or more partial areas in the medical image and a noise index value generation part 27 which outputs a single noise index value from the calculated local noise index values.
