PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cultivate seaweed or waterweed at low cost, introducing a labor-saving manner and thereby to enable utilization as food, prevention of eutrophication, and supply of biofuel materials.SOLUTION: A foamed glass carrier that can float on the water surface is produced by pulverizing glass, adding thereto a foaming agent or the like, and baking them.
