PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentrator, wherein assembly work, inspection and servicing efficiencies can be improved for a small-sized oxygen concentrator with reduced noises.SOLUTION: The oxygen concentrator has a casing or air-tight container 2, 3 for introducing air to the inside through a suction port and discharging air to the outside through an exhaust port, a compressor 105, an adsorption tube for separating and generating oxygen, a switch means 109 to switch flow passage routes for changing the state between the one of introducing compressed air into the adsorption tube and the one of introducing negative pressure into the adsorption tube to discharge the compressed air from there, a fan 104 for blowing air to the compressor for its cooling down, and a two-step type soundproof room 35 installed within the casing or air-tight container 2, 3 and provided with the upper component and the lower component that can be taken in and out of the soundproof room 35 through its side.
