The other end of the shaft is provided with a point (4) opposite of the head. The head is arranged via a neck (5) on the shaft and comprises a convex element (14), where the neck defines a pitch. The present horse shoe nail distinguishes itself over conventional horse shoe nails in that it comprises a convex curvature in an orientation where the curvature extends in a plane defined by both the longitudinal directions of the head and of the shaft.
