The present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting Xanthine oxidase, comprising (i) an effective amount of Ludwigia octovalvis (Jacq.) Raven extract, Euphorbia hirta L. extract or Physalis angulata extract, and (ii) a physiologically or pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
