The nonwoven web having a reduced level of lint and slough is disclosed. According to the invention, the nonwoven web is treated with a small amount of polymer component on at least one surface . Polymer component is, for example , may be in the form of meltblown fibers . Meltblown fibers are made from a nonwoven web are compatible with the polymer . By adding a relatively small amount of melt blown fibers on one side of the nonwoven , the lint and slough levels was found to be significantly reduced.
