The present invention relates to a composition containing a pine cone extract as an active ingredient. More specifically, the composition of the present invention has shown outstanding skin-whitening activity through experiments for testing skin-whitening activity such as an experiment for measuring tyrosinase inhibitory activity (test example 1) and an experiment for testing melanin biosynthesis inhibitory effects (test example 2), and an experiment for testing cytotoxicity to fibroblast CCD-1064SK (test example 3), thereby being useful as a skin-whitening composition.
