The present invention provides a neutron beam irradiation system that improves operation efficiency. The neutron beam irradiation system (1) comprises: a target (T), which is irradiated by a charged particle beam (P) to generate a neutron beam (N); a receiving section (102), which comprises at least a deceleration body (108) and receives the target (T) therein; a converging section (104) that converges the neutron beam (N) that is irradiated to an object-to-be-irradiated; and a therapeutic platform (32), which carries the object-to-be-irradiated. Further, the neutron beam irradiation system (1) comprises rails (114), sliding sections (116), and driving sections (117) to serve as relative movement means. The relative movement means enables the therapeutic platform (32) to make a relative movement for approaching or leaving the target (T), the receiving section (102), and the converging section (104).
