PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a mower which does not need adjustment in clearance between a fixed blade and a rotary blade, in a mower which mows the lawn by a spiral rotary blade 2 arranged horizontally and a fixed blade 4 arranged in the tracks of the rotation of the cutting blade 2a of the rotary blade 2.SOLUTION: For the fixed blade 4, both the ends are fixed to fixed blade supporting plates 5, and the fixed blade supporting plates 5 is pivoted on a fixed shaft 6 both ends of which are fixed to the side plates 1a of the body frame, whereby the fixed blade 4 can rotate freely. The other end of a torsional spring 8, which is wound on the fixed shaft 6 and one end of which is fixed to the fixed shaft, engages with the fixed blade 4, thereby energizing the cutting blade 4a, which is the tip of the fixed blade, in a direction of abutting always on the cutting blade 3a, which is the tip of the spiral blade, by the elasticity of the torsional spring to keep its favorable cutting state. In the spiral blade 3, a biting preventive part 7, which projects upstream of the rotating direction, is formed at the side end which becomes upstream of the rotating direction.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】水平方向に配置した螺旋状の回転刃2と、回転刃2の切り刃2aの回転軌跡に接する位置に配置した固定刃4によって刈取を行う芝刈り機において、固定刃と回転刃のクリアランス調節を必要としない芝刈り機を実現する。【解決手段】固定刃4はその両端を固定刃支持板5に固定し、固定刃支持板5は本体フレームの側板1aに両端が固定された固定軸6に軸支し、固定刃4を回動自在とする。固定軸6に巻回し、一端を固定軸に固定したねじりバネ8の他端を固定刃4に係合させ、ねじりバネの弾性によって固定刃の先端である切り刃4aを螺旋刃の先端である切り刃3aに常時当接する方向に付勢させ、良好な切断状態を維持する。螺旋刃3には、回転方向の上流側となる側端に、回転方向の上流方向に向けて突出する噛み込み防止部7を形成する。【選択図】 図1
