PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleansing cosmetic good in compatibility with messy makeup, thus enabling messy makeup to be rinsed off easily and affording refreshing use feeling after use, having bicontinuous microemulsion structure, and to provide a method for producing the cleansing cosmetic.
SOLUTION: The cleansing cosmetic, having bicontinuous microemulsion structure, includes a nonionic surfactant, an oily component, water, a polyhydric alcohol except 5-10C 1,2-alkanediols, and a 5-10C 1,2-alkanediol. The method for producing the cleansing cosmetic is also provided.
