PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orthopedic implant that has a base device having a device surface and a fixing material attached to at least a portion of the device surface.SOLUTION: A fixing material is configured to provide minimum sufficient adhesion for resisting to fall out naturally by the force to act on a base device after transplant and after the growth of bone. Also, a method for manufacturing an orthopedic implant is provided. The base device including a device surface is provided, and the minimum sufficient adhesion is determined that can resist to fall out naturally by the force to act on the base device after the transplant and after the growth of the bone. An appropriate volume of the fixing material enough for providing the adhesion being equal to the minimum sufficient adhesion is determined, and the fixing material is applied to the device.
