The retraction mechanism (2) includes a motor (5) coupled to a transmission shaft, a first gear rotatably mounted on the transmission shaft (17), the first gear (18) configured to engage a second gear (25), a clutch operatively attached to the second gear (25), a main shaft rotatably connected to the clutch (23), and a pulley (21) coupled to the 1o main shaft, the pulley (21) being operatively attached to the connector. The connector and the pulley (21) may be attached via a cable (14). The retraction mechanism (2) may include a spring motor (19) for maintaining the cable in tension.
