PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a funeral expenditure and to improve functionality of an ornamental coffin by providing a decorativeness to a coffin for receiving the remains of the deceased so that it can be used as a part of an altar or as an altar.SOLUTION: The ornamental coffin 1 includes: a coffin body 3 receiving the remains and being laid in state and a flammable decorative formative article 5 provided on the surface of the coffin body 3.
