PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the amounts of projection of an observation window and a fluid jetting nozzle from the tip of an inserting part.SOLUTION: An air feeding and water supplying nozzle 22 and an observation window 28 are provided on a distal end part 16a continuously installed at the tip of an inserting part of an endoscope. A recessed part 33 recessed by one step from a flat face 27c of a tip protective cap 27 constituting the distal end part 16a is formed. The observation window 28 is surrounded by the recessed part 33, and the peripheral edge of a convex lens surface 35 is fitted at a position projecting from the recessed part 33. Between the peripheral edge of the convex lens surface 35 and the recessed part 33, an annular projecting part 38 projecting by a specified height from the recessed part 33 is provided. On the annular projecting part 38, there exists an inclined face 39 inclined gradually toward the proximal end side toward the recessed part 33 from the peripheral edge of the convex lens surface 35. The air feeding and water supplying nozzle 22 is provided on the flat face 27c, to jet the fluid onto the inclined face 39.
