PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle for acupuncture, capable of imparting stimulation to a body for a longer period, further practically used even for beauty formation/face-lifting, and allowing easy extraction of a thread from a hypodermic needle inside the body especially by only adjusting a turnup length of the thread.SOLUTION: A needle for acupuncture includes: a hypodermic needle 2 having a pore an implant thread 3 implanted into a body and a clamp 4 holding the other end 3a side of the implant thread 3 along the hypodermic needle 2. One end side of the implant thread 3 is inserted into the pore of a tip part of the hypodermic needle by a prescribed length, the implant thread 3 is simultaneously implanted into the body when puncturing an affected part of the body with the hypodermic needle 2, and is left inside the body, and only the hypodermic needle 2 is extracted. In the implant thread 3, a drawing-out length Y from the pore 2b of the hypodermic needle 2 is set to be longer than an insertion length X into the pore 2b of the hypodermic needle 2.
