PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological signal detection device capable of detecting a signal suitable for measuring a brain wave and a brain wave measurement method using such a signal detection.SOLUTION: A biological signal detection device 10 includes: a reference electrode 51 configured so as to be arranged in a part of a region consisting of a recess of the auricle and the external acoustic meatus and a detection electrode 52 configured so as to come in contact with the skin on the temporal bone behind the auricle.
