The present invention relates to a ventricular assist device including (a) a cylindrical body (110), (b) an impeller (120), (c) a motor (130), (d) a drive line (140), and a fixing means (an anchoring member) (150). The ventricular assist device of the present invention decreases the invasiveness of an existing surgical operation. As a device devised to reduce the invasiveness of existing surgical operations, the device of the present invention, unlike existing ventricular assist devices, employs an anchoring member so that the device can be easily mounted on or separated from a transplanted portion if needed and can safely connect the drive line with the outside of the ventricle using a connection member so as to assist ventricular functions through a minimally invasive surgical operation. Moreover, the ventricular assist device of the present invention can reduce the invasiveness of surgical operations, which has been considered the biggest disadvantage of existing ventricular assist devices.
