PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health promotion system capable of controlling the operation of an acting part on the basis of body information measured before use.

SOLUTION: In this system, a measuring apparatus 1 for measuring the body information of a user and a health promotion apparatus 2 for promoting the health of the user by acting on the body of the user are connected through a network 3. The health promotion apparatus 2 comprises a massage machine for instance, and is provided with an operation processing part 20, an acting part 21 with a massage function, an operation part 22 for performing operations such as the setting operation of setting the part, strength and movement, etc., of massage and the user input operation of inputting a user name to be used this time, and a communication part 25 for performing data communication through the network 3. When the user name to be used this time is inputted using the operation part 22, the operation processing part 20 acquires the body information of the user from the measuring apparatus 1 using the communication part 25, judges a health state on the basis of the acquired body information, and controls the operation of the acting part 21 corresponding to the health state.
