PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant growing container which can improve the growth rate of a plant and/or the growth degree of the plant on completion of the growth while saving cost, time, and effort.SOLUTION: A plant growing container includes: a container main body 10 which has a bottom part and a side wall part extending upward from the outer circumferential part of the bottom part and which holds soil in a holding part surrounded by the bottom part and the side wall part a lower side projection part 12c which projects outward in the horizontal direction from the outer circumferential surface of the side wall part a plurality of holes 12b which are provided on an upper end part of the side wall part and penetrate the upper end part in the vertical direction and into which frames of a thermal insulating cover, a moisture retaining cover, or an insect repelling cover are inserted in the vertical direction and fixing means 12d which fixes the end of each frame inserted into each of the holes to the lower side projection part.
