The invention relates to a seawater air-conditioning system with a fan (6) for generating an airflow (6), a humidifying device (7) for humidifying the airflow using mineralized water (3), in particular salt water, and a UV light source (12), wherein the seawater air-conditioning system is improved with respect to the effectiveness of the room climate generated by the seawater air-conditioning system and produces conditions which substantially approximate the actual oceanic climate in particular. According to the invention, the airflow (6) can flow through the humidifying device (7), and the humidifying device is arranged in the flow direction a climate chamber (11) is provided which adjoins the humidifying device (7) and is arranged downstream of the humidifying device (7) in the flow direction and the UV light source (12) is arranged such that the UV light source emits UV light to the humidified airflow (6) flowing through the climate chamber (11) and the humidifying device (7) surface (7) which faces the climate chamber (11) and through which air flows.
