PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of preventing a user from having a sense of incongruity by improving the impression of a superimposing region between separately formed wing members and a body.SOLUTION: This absorbent article 1 has a body 5 having a front surface sheet 2, a rear surface sheet 3 for the body and an absorbing body 4 and a pair of wings 6. The wings 6 are formed by using a wing forming materials 60 which are separately provided from the front surface sheet 2 and the rear surface sheet 3 for the body, respectively. The wing forming materials 60 each have a rear surface film 60b for a wing and a nonwoven fabric 60a for a wing. In this absorbent article 1, a superimposing region T between a portion extending to the outward from a side edge 41 of the absorbent body 4 of the rear surface sheet 3 for the body and a lateral inner side portion 60b2 of the rear surface film 60b for the wing is formed along both the side edges 51 of the body 5. A pattern 9 is formed by printing on the superimposing region T.
