The present invention relates to an antigen binding molecule (ABM). In certain embodiments, the invention relates to a recombinant monoclonal antibody comprising a chimeric, augmented or humanized antibody specific for a human EGFR. The present invention also relates to nucleic acid molecules encoding such ABMs, and vectors and host cells comprising such nucleic acid molecules. The invention also relates to a process for the preparation of the ABM of the invention and to the use of said ABM in the treatment of the disease.
