The present invention relates to a semiochemical composition comprising methyl palmitate, methyl linoleate, methyl oleate methyl stearate, methyl laurate, methyl myristate, salts thereof, derivatives thereof, isomers thereof and/or structural analogues thereof that have an appeasing effect in cats and/or also effects social facilitation in cats, and an acceptable vehicle.
