PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope camera which improves working efficiency by enabling intuitive and reliable understanding of a subject for observation and a positional relationship of instruments operated by an observer in the work under an endoscope and an endoscope video system.
SOLUTION: This invention relates to the endoscope camera 1 equipped with a main body of a casing body 10 including a lens-barrel part 12 on the distal end side and a base part 11 on the proximal end side, a group 2 of lenses provided on the lens-barrel part 12 of the main body of the casing body 10, an image pickup device 3 provided on the base part 11 or the lens-barrel part 12 of the main body of the casing body 10, and protrusions 4 provided on the outer surface of the main body of the casing body 10. Moreover, this invention relates to an endoscope camera system equipped with the endoscope camera 1 and a monitor for displaying images captured by the endoscope camera 1, and an image displaying surface for the monitor is arranged on the basis of an optical axis of the lens-barrel 12 in the main body of the casing body 10 of the endoscope camera 1.
