The present invention relates to a tracheostomy tube (1) with a tracheostomy cannula (2) being provided at least in areas with helical reinforcement (3) and with at least one phonation opening (10) disposed in the tracheostomy cannula. It is the objective of the present invention to provide an improved tracheostomy tube with high stability. For this purpose, the invention provides that the pitch of the helical reinforcement (S2) in the area of the at least one phonation opening be increased such that the at least one phonation opening is fitted between two turns of the helical reinforcement.
