The present invention relates to an apparatus for purifying seawater in a land-based aquaculture tank, and more particularly, to a seawater purification filter which is configured to couple with an end of a seawater inlet pipe of a land-based aquaculture tank, and in which copper ions are naturally eluted and purify seawater. The seawater purification filter is configured to comprise: a coupler, one side of which couples with a seawater inlet pipe that introduces seawater to a land-based aquaculture tank； a first screen which couples with the other side of the coupler and removes foreign materials contained in the seawater； a copper ion elution section which is located posterior to the first screen, and includes a honeycomb copper alloy block that provides a plurality of hexagonal seawater passages formed in parallel to the direction in which seawater is transported, so copper ions are naturally eluted by the seawater； and a second screen which couples with the posterior end of the copper ion elution section and further removes foreign materials contained in the seawater. The present invention provides a sea water purification method that is relatively convenient, economical, and effective, and has the advantage that copper ions can be eluted with a relatively low friction loss.
