The present invention relates to a novel epitope of IP-10 (IFN-&gamma-inducible protein 10), to an antibody to the epitope or an antigen-binding fragment thereof, to a composition comprising the epitope as an active ingredient for inducing an antibody to IP-10, and to a pharmaceutical composition comprising the antibody or the antigen-binding fragment thereof for preventing or treating diseases relating to IP-10.
