PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the conventional root crop harvester having a substantially constant width of a passage space of a foliage part between left and right position alignment devices, that crops other than predetermined standardized ones are difficult to be handled, especially small sized crops, and to provide a root crop harvester provided with position alignment devices that can handle crops with a wider range of sizes than the conventional one.SOLUTION: A root crop harvester is provided, in which a pair of left and right position alignment devices (54R and 54L) provided in an extracting/conveying device (24) includes position alignment endless belts (48) each outer peripheral part of which is covered by a cover member (51). Further, a width of a passage space of a foliage part between the left and right position alignment devices (54R and 54L) is formed adjustable by moving relative positions of the position alignment endless belt (48) and the cover member (51) provided thereon to the passage space of the foliage part.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】従来の根菜類収穫機に備えた位置揃え装置は、左右の位置揃え装置の間の茎葉部の通過空間の幅が略一定であり、所定の規格以外の作物には対応できなかった。特に小さいサイズの作物に対応することが困難であった。よって、従来よりも広い範囲のサイズの作物に対応可能な位置揃え装置を備えた根菜類収穫機を提供することが、本発明が解決しようとする課題である。【解決手段】引抜搬送装置(24)に設けた左右一対の位置揃え装置(54R、54L)に、被覆部材(51)によって外周部を覆った位置揃え無端帯(48)を備え、左右の位置揃え装置(54R、54L)間の茎葉部の通過空間の幅を、位置揃え無端体(48)と、この位置揃え無端体(48)に備えた被覆部材(51)との相対位置を茎葉部の通過空間に対し移動することで調節可能に構成したことを特徴とする根菜類収穫機により上記問題を解決した。【選択図】図14
