PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is unknown to what extent thrombus has been actually dissolved by the injection of a thrombolytic agent with an extremely small needle which is a treatment carried out in expectation of a dissolving action by an enzyme in a treatment of retinal vein branch occlusion, etc. by a conventional technology.SOLUTION: An ophthalmic surgical instrument for removing retinal blood vessel thrombus includes a grip part 2 gripped by a user, an intraocular insertion part 3 composed of a tubular member, which is provided at the tip of the grip part and inserted into an eye, a needle tube 5 provided at the tip of the intraocular insertion part, which is inserted into a retinal blood vessel, a linear body part 7 slidably movable in the axial direction, which is interpolated in the intraocular insertion part and the needle tube, and an operation body provided to the grip part.
