PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid bath agent in which carbon dioxide and hydrogen gas foam at the same time, which can achieve all of (i) improvement in the stability of a formulation, (ii) reduction of heat generation at the time of hydrogen generation, and (iii) prevention of a sulfur odor generated from the formulation.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a granule-, briquet- or tablet-like solid bath agent containing magnesium hydride, polyvalent aliphatic carboxylic acid and sodium carbonate.
