PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency treatment instrument for endoscope capable of safely executing a mucosal incision by having an index for acquiring the direction of an exposed electrode on a distal tube at a low cost and facilitating a confirmation how much the exposed electrode is buried in the mucosa.
SOLUTION: This high-frequency treatment instrument is so formed that the electric-insulation flexible distal tube 3 is connected, rotatably about an axis, to the distal end of an electric-insulation flexible proximal tube 1 in which a conductive wire 2 is insertedly disposed, and the distal tube 3 is formed with a pair of electrode through-hole 5 for passing the wire-like exposed electrode 4, which is mechanically and electrically connected to the conductive wire 2, wherein the distal end tube 3 contains a material tube having a streak 6 formed visibly to the outer face and straightly extending axially across the whole length, as a material, and the electrode through-holes 5 are formed in a prescribed position relationship with the streak 6.
