This application discloses a bioresorbable synthetic scaffold having at least two fibrous materials. The first fibrous material has pores having a diameter from 1µm -100µm. In use, it faces a wound bed for colonising by skin fibroblasts, promoting repair/regeneration of a patient's dermis. The second fibrous material has pores having a diameter from 50nm -20µm and, in use, is located above the first fibrous material for colonising by keratinocytes, promoting repair/regeneration of the epidermis. Alternatively, the scaffold may have a first fibrous material having pores with a diameter of 4µm - 9µm for promoting dermal repair/regeneration, and a second fibrous material with pores having a diameter of 0.1µm - 3.5µm for promoting epidermal repair/regeneration.
