A portable permanent magnet gyromagnetic rehabilitation apparatus comprises a magnetic roller (1) supported in a cylindrical shell (7) that is made of non-metallic material, and driven by a motor (11) to rotate coaxially with the shell, so as to enable the magnetic roller to rotate in the shell without hitting the inner wall of the shell. The apparatus is characterized in that the magnetic roller is a cylinder having a circular cross section and comprising five parallel layers along the axial direction thereof the middle third layer (4) and the first layer and the fifth layer (2,6) located on the outmost surface side of the cylinder are all made of ferromagnetic material and the second layer and the fourth layer (3, 5) respectively between the third layer and the first layer and between the third layer and the fifth layer are made of permanent magnet material of which the magnetization direction is perpendicular to the bonding plane pointing to or facing away from the respective closely adhered third layer.
