PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system having a simple configuration.SOLUTION: The endoscope system 1 includes a capsule endoscope 10 and a receiver 20. The receiver 20 includes an image receiving part 22 for receiving an image to be transmitted by the capsule endoscope 10, an external memory 23 for storing the image to be received by the image receiving part 22, and a permission signal transmitting part 24 for transmitting permission signals at predetermined intervals.
