Described herein are body liners and methods for treating accidental intestinal leakage using one or more body liners. The body liner may be formed from one or more liner layers and in some cases may include one or more adhesive regions to connect the body liner to the wearer's skin. The body liner may be configured to absorb fluid and may selectively distribute fluid to the body liner. In one embodiment, a device for treating fecal incontinence comprises a body liner that is sized and configured to be at least partially disposed within a fissure, wherein the body liner is facing the body facing and posteriorly.
