PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator for a microneedle.SOLUTION: In one aspect of the invention, a microneedle applicator is provided having two concentric portions (18, 26) that may be a solid disk and a ring surrounding it. A micro needle array (28) is disposed on a side facing skin in an inner portion of the applicator. An outer portion of the applicator is disposed in the skin (32), and contacts with the skin in some region. Subsequently, the micro needle array is extruded to the skin. In another aspect of the invention, the applicator for microprojection array including inner and outer sides is provided.
