Monocyclic pyrimidine and pyridine compounds having a benzyl amine substituent at the 4 position and a 5:6 bicyclic heteroaryl substituent at the 2 position of the pyrimidine or pyridine ring as well as optional aliphatic, functional and/or aromatic components substituted at other positions of the ring are disclosed. These compounds are inhibitors of the AAA proteasome complex containing p97 and are effective medicinal agents for treatment of diseases associated with p97 bioactivity such as cancer.La présente invention concerne des composés monocycliques pyrimidine et pyridine ayant un substituant benzyl amine en position 4 et un substituant hétéroaryle bicyclique 5:6 en position 2 du cycle pyrimidine ou pyridine ainsi que des constituants aliphatiques, fonctionnels et/ou aromatiques facultatifs substitués à dautres positions du cycle. Ces composés sont des inhibiteurs du complexe du protéasome AAA contenant p97 et sont des agents médicinaux efficaces pour le traitement des maladies associées à la bioactivité de p97 telles que le cancer.
