Described herein is a hydrogel-containing multilayer article and methods of making, said hydrogel-containing multilayer article comprising: (i) a polymeric substrate comprising an abstractable atom； and (ii) a cured aqueous coating composition thereon wherein the coating composition comprises: (a) a hydrophilic monomer comprising a (meth)acrylamide, (meth)acrylate, and combinations thereof: (b) at least 2 wt% of a water-swellable clay； (c) a water-soluble type I photoinitiator； and (d) an acid or salt wherein a water insoluble type II photoinitiator is localized at the interface between the hydrogel coating and the polymeric substrate.La présente invention concerne un article multicouche contenant un hydrogel et des procédés de fabrication, ledit article multicouche contenant un hydrogel comprenant : (i) un substrat polymère comprenant un atome extractible ； et (ii) une composition de revêtement aqueuse durcie sur celui-ci, la composition de revêtement comprenant : (a) un monomère hydrophile comprenant un (méth)acrylamide, un (méth)acrylate, et des combinaisons de ceux-ci : (b) au moins 2 % en poids d'une argile gonflable dans l'eau ； (c) un photo-initiateur de type I hydrosoluble ； et (d) un acide ou un sel dans lequel un photo-initiateur de type II insoluble dans l'eau est localisé au niveau de l'interface entre le revêtement d'hydrogel et le substrat polymère.
