The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cancer containing R(-)-propylnorapomorphine or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. The composition of the present invention has excellent anticancer activity by inhibiting the proliferation of solid cancer cells, such as uterine cancer and fibrosarcoma, in a micromole concentration, thereby being practically used for preventing and treating cancer.본 발명은 R(-)-프로필노르아포모르핀 (R(-)-propylnorapomorphine) 또는 이의 약학적으로 허용가능한 염을 유효성분으로 포함하는 암의 예방 또는 치료용 약학 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 조성물은 암, 특히 자궁암 및 섬유육종과 같은 고형암 세포의 증식을 낮은 마이크로몰 농도에서 저해함으로써 뛰어난 항암활성을 나타내는 바, 암의 예방 및 치료에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
