PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel seat where a locking member for a moving hood is easily and firmly locked without rattling.SOLUTION: A reel seat body 2 having a reel leg placement surface on which a reel is placed has a first recessed part 12 which opens vertically. A locking member 20 for locking the moving hood has a projecting part 23 that enters the first recessed part 12 to abut against an axial inner surface of the first recessed part to regulate axial movement. A second recessed part 12c is formed in the inner surface of the first recessed part 12 to correspond to the projecting part 23.
