The present invention relates to a dental implant on which a hydrophilic water-retaining layer is coated, and a manufacturing method thereof. More specifically, the dental implant in which a hydrophilic water-retaining layer is coated on the surface thereof, according to the invention, improves the blood protein adhesion ability and hemocompatibility of a dental implant, thereby enabling effective osseointegration.
