PURPOSE: A method for performing an adaptive color Doppler and an ultrasonic diagnosis system are provided to improve an average frame rate by focusing an ultrasonic beam in a bloodstream or blood vessel data region.CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic diagnosis system includes a probe(11), a beam former(12), an image processor(13), and a display unit(14). The probe includes a plurality of transducers. The beam former outputs primary and secondary ultrasonic echo signals. The image processor forms a scanning frame and an adaptive frame based on the primary and secondary ultrasonic echo signals outputted from the beam former.
