A tree-cutting head which can be used as part of a tree-cutting implement for trimming tree branches or trunks is described. The tree-cutting head (2) includes a chainsaw assembly comprising a main body (6), a guide bar (22) attached to the main body, a sprocket (25 Fig.6) and a chain wound around the guide bar and sprocket. The guide bar defines a cutting plane (10). The tree-cutting head also includes a clamping assembly (8) for removably attaching the tree-cutting head to a tree (5). The clamping assembly is pivotally attached to the main body such that pivoting the main body with respect to the clamping arrangement causes the guide bar to pivot in the cutting plane.Linvention concerne une tête de coupe darbre qui peut être utilisée en tant que partie dun outil de coupe darbre pour tailler des branches ou des troncs darbre. La tête de coupe darbre (2) comprend un ensemble tronçonneuse comportant un corps principal (6), une barre de guidage (22) attachée sur le corps principal, une roue dentée (25 Fig. 6) et une chaîne enroulée autour de la barre de guidage et de la roue dentée. La barre de guidage définit un plan de coupe (10). La tête de coupe darbre comprend aussi un ensemble de serrage (8) permettant dattacher de façon amovible la tête de coupe darbre à un arbre (5). Lensemble de serrage est attaché de façon à pouvoir pivoter au corps principal de façon que le pivotement du corps principal par rapport à lagencement de serrage provoque le pivotement de la barre de guidage dans le plan de coupe.
