The present invention pertains to a resin particle dispersion most suitable for manufacturing a sheet product such as paper. Specifically, the objective of the present invention is to provide a resin particle dispersion which provides a sheet product having excellent heat resistance and high mechanical strength, and which has a small environmental load since wastewater obtained after sheet formation has a small amount of remaining resin particles. Provided are: a resin particle dispersion characterized by containing, as essential components, resin particles (A), a fiber material (B), an ionic polyacrylamide (C), and water; and a sheet product and a friction plate using the resin particle dispersion.
