Disclosed is a central blood pressure waveform reconstruction model and the reconstruction method, the method comprising the following steps: establishing a double serial transmission line model and using it to describe the transmission process of a blood pressure wave between the ascending aorta and the terminals of blood vessels in the upper arm (S10). The double serial transmission line model comprises a first transmission line model (100) and a second transmission line model (200) in series. Based on the double serial transmission line model, the relationship between the central blood pressure waveform and the blood pressure waveform of the terminals of blood vessels in the upper arm is obtained (S20). The blood pressure waveform of the terminals of blood vessels in the upper arm of a subject is obtained and based on same, together with the relationship between the central blood pressure waveform and the blood pressure waveform of the terminals of blood vessels in the upper arm, reconstructing the central blood pressure waveform of the subject(S30). The method only requires the blood pressure waveform of the terminals of blood vessels in the upper arm to be obtained to accurately reconstruct the central blood pressure waveform without a wound.
