Provided is a chair-type massager which has a simple structure and which enables both the placement of the users lower limbs on a footrest section and the massage of the lower limbs. This chair type massager (1) has a seat (2) on which a user sits, a footrest section (5) which has therein a lower limb massage mechanism for massaging the lower limbs (L) of the user sitting on the seat (2) and which is located in front of the seat (2).
